Peshawar: Unknown persons abducted a police head constable in the Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Dawn TV quoted police sources as saying that a police official named Irfan was on duty in the District Security Branch (DSB). The official was abducted by unknown persons while he was going home after Isha’s prayers.
The police have launched a search operation in the area but have not made any arrests yet.
According to the police, the incident took place in the remote mountainous area of Ahmadzai Sub-division in Bannu, where unknown persons had occupied the Rocha check post.
