Multan: After not issuing visas to the Pakistani team and refusing to play in Pakistan, India has withdrawn hosting rights for the Blind Cricket World Cup scheduled for next year.
The Blind T20 World Cup is underway in Pakistan, for which India had refused to give NOC to send its team to Pakistan.
The 26th meeting of the World Blind Cricket Council was held in Multan, in which 7 countries participated, while the boards of India, England and New Zealand participated in the online meeting.
In the General Council meeting of the World Blind Cricket Council held at a local hotel in Multan, Syed Sultan Shah of Pakistan was re-elected as the President of the World Blind Cricket Council, while Rajneesh Henry of India was elected as the Secretary-General.
In the meeting, all the members took the position that the President of the Blind Cricket Council took the position that the teams of the two countries could not play matches against each other due to visa issues.
In the meeting, the World Blind Cricket Council made an important decision and made it clear that the upcoming World Cup matches will be held at neutral venues.
According to the report, the World Blind Cricket Council has also announced that all the upcoming matches of the Pakistan and India blind teams will be held at neutral venues.
It should be remembered that this decision by the World Blind Cricket Council has come against the backdrop of the Blind T20 Cricket World Cup being held in Pakistan, while the Indian cricket team had withdrawn from the event after the Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not allow them to travel to Pakistan.
