Tehran: A girl protesting against the strict religious dress code at a university in Iran took off her clothes and walked around half-naked during which she was arrested by the police.
According to Dawn TV, a video from an Iranian university is going viral on social media, in which a girl is recording a protest against the country’s strict dress code.
In the viral video, it can be seen that a girl is seen half-naked and she is sitting on the stairs in a blog of the university.
Later, the video of the arrest of a girl who was walking around in a semi-naked state at the university also came to light. In a video posted on social media, a security guard of a branch of Islamic Azad University can be seen arresting an unknown girl.
University spokesperson Aamir Mehboob wrote in his post on the micro-blogging website ‘X’ that the police station and the medical team had informed that the girl’s mental balance is not good and she was suffering from severe mental stress.
