Peshawar: PTI’s Peshawar Jalsa on November 8 has been canceled and it has been decided to replace it with Tent Village.
According to the party sources, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf has decided to cancel its November 8 rally in Peshawar and settle in a tent village. PTI will set up a tent village in Swabi after November 10.
Thousands of tents will be installed in Swabi Rest House to build a tent village. Lakhs of PTI workers from all over Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will come to the tent village. Apart from this, party leaders, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, ministers, MNAs, and MPs will stay in the tent village.
Party sources say that there is a possibility of party workers residing in Tent Village to march towards Islamabad, however, the final decision to march towards Islamabad will be taken by the central leadership.
According to PTI leader Arbab Asim, it has been decided to cancel the Peshawar Jalsa and set up a tent village, in which workers from all over the country will participate. Apart from this, the chief minister and central and provincial leaders will address the gathering. He said that the final date of the tent village could not be decided due to Tablighi gathering.
