Chiniot: Chenab Nagar Municipal Committee worker,s Hooliganism in the name of Assistant Commissioner. Nadeem Gujjar, in the name of ending illegal encroachments, attacked the shops together with the employees’ committee workers. Nadeem Gujjar committee workers in their presence broke the locks with stones lifted people’s belongings and kept saying that we have orders from above.
Local journalist Muhammad Tahir said that the committee worker Nadeem Gujjar and the staff workers also abused and threatened the media. Nadeem Gujjar stole the camera and mobile but returned it later.
The victims have requested Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz and DPO Chiniot to file an FIR against the criminals and dismiss such workers.
