PTI Jalsa; Barriers were erected by placing containers in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, and the entrances to Islamabad were closed

Islamabad / Rawalpindi: On the instructions of the district administration of Islamabad, a security red alert has been issued due to the rally, while containers have been delivered to different places.

All the entrances and exits of the Red Zone have been blocked with the help of containers, the concerned persons will be allowed to enter the Red Zone through Margalla Road.
In connection with the public meeting at PTI’s Sing Jani place, roadblocks were erected by placing containers on the roads of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

The points connecting Rawalpindi with Islamabad were also closed. Old Airport Road from Coral Chowk, Rawat T Chowk, and GT Road from Mandira are closed. The road connecting Faiz to Islamabad was also closed while barriers were erected at Murid Chowk.

The roads connecting Murree Road from inner city Raja Bazar and IGP Road from Satellite Town and Peer Wadhai were also closed. The Taxila GT Road has also been blocked at Margalla Singh Jani, while the highway has also been blocked near Chongi No. 26.

Motorway 26 Chongi, the entrance to Islamabad, has been closed. Containers have been placed at the expressway Khanna bridge.

Murree Road has been closed by placing containers at Faizabad, and the roads from Rawat T Chowk to Rawalpindi have been closed by placing containers.

Similarly, the Faizabad Interchange is completely sealed, and containers have been delivered to the Attock Khurd Police Check Post on the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab border.
