Peshawar: With the restoration of the amendments, only 10 cases remained in the provincial NAB courts.
According to Dawn sources, 10 cases will remain in the NAB courts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after the decision of the Supreme Court to restore the NAB amendments.
With the decision of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, many political leaders in the province will also be able to benefit. The reference of former federal minister Arbab Alamgir and his wife MNA Asma Alamgir and former provincial minister Sher Azam Wazir will also be returned to NAB.
After the Supreme Court decision, out of 189 references from accountability courts of Peshawar, around 170 references will be returned to NAB.
In this way, 4 NAB courts will have more or less 10 references left for hearing, including the references of former IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Malik Naveed and former Secretary Workers Welfare Board Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Malik Tariq Awan.
