Paris Paralympics: Pakistan player Hyder Ali won the bronze medal in discus throw

Paris: Pakistan’s Hyder Ali won the bronze medal in the discus throw in the ongoing Paralympic Games in Paris, while the athlete from Uzbekistan got the gold medal with a throw of 56.003 meters.

Pakistan’s Hyder Ali threw the discus 52.4 meters away in the last attempt, his first throw was 52.8 meters, and the second, third, fourth, and fifth attempts were declared fouls.

Hyder Ali from Gujranwala has won this medal in the F thirty-seven category discus throw event. Hyder Ali won the gold medal in the discus throw event at the Tokyo Games with a throw of 52.26 meters.

Haider Ali won the silver medal in the long jump event of the 2088 Beijing Games and won the bronze medal in the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games. This is his fourth medal overall at the Paralympic Games.

Haider Ali has also won a silver medal in the World Para Athletics, four gold medals in the Asian Para Games along with two bronze medals to his name. He has previously won a total of five gold, two silver, and three bronze medals for Pakistan.
