KARACHI: On behalf of the heirs of the father and daughter who died in a traffic accident in the Karsaz area, the court on Friday submitted a ‘no objection certificate’ to pardon and grant bail to the main accused, Natasha Danish, in the dowry agreement under Sharia law. Bail was granted to the accused.
During the hearing of accused Natasha Danish’s bail application in the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Karachi East, the lawyer submitted a no-objection certificate on behalf of the deceased Imran Arif’s heirs.
The accused’s lawyer told the court that Natasha Danish is a mental patient, who has been undergoing treatment since August 2005. The accused has a UK driving license which is valid for six months in Pakistan.
The lawyer further said that the heirs of the deceased have forgiven the accused in the name of Allah.
After which the court granted bail to the accused for one lakh rupees. The court also confirmed the interim bail of Danish Iqbal, the husband of the accused. The court had approved Danish Iqbal’s bail of 50,000.
