KARACHI: On the occasion of Defense Day on September 6, a special ceremony was organized at the Martyrs’ Memorial in Malir Cantonment.
Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori along with Corps Commander Lt. Gen. Babar Iftikhar attended the martyrs’ memorial.
Ministers, DG Rangers, IG Sindh, relatives of martyrs, Ghazis, and other participants visited the martyrs’ memorial and laid wreaths.
Paying tribute to the great sacrifices of the martyrs, the participants prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs of Pakistan
On this occasion, Governor Sindh paid tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs and said that the sacrifices of the martyrs of the country are our capital.
The Corps Commander described the perseverance and patience of the martyrs’ families as a proverb for the nation and said that along with the defense agencies, other law enforcement agencies have also made many sacrifices in the war against terrorists.
Governor Sindh along with Corps Commander Karachi met the families of the martyrs and appreciated their determination and courage.
