The EIB’s Asia-Pacific delegation, headed by Edvardas Bamastinas, has expressed interest in major development projects funded by multilateral lending institutions such as the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.
Among the projects that the EIB has expressed interest in is the widening of the N5 highway, which aims to improve road connectivity and transport efficiency, particularly in flood-prone areas.
Apart from this, the delegation also expressed interest in water filtration and industrial water recycling projects in Karachi, which are important to tackle the water problems faced by the city.
