Sahiwal: The main procession was taken out from Qasr Batul in connection with the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain (peace be upon him). Foolproof security arrangements were made by the police. The security plan was issued by District Police Officer Sahiwal Faisal Shahzad. 511 police personnel, including 3 DSP, 8 Inspectors / SHOs, 52 Sub-Inspectors / Assistant Sub-Inspectors, 214 Constables, 43 Ladies Police and elite and traffic personnel are performing duty in the procession of Sahiwal Center Imambargah Qasr Batul. A control room was also set up at the District Police Officer’s office Sahiwal.
