Rabi-ul-Awwal moon was not seen, Eid Milad-ul-Nabi ﷺ will be held on September 17 in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The Central Sighting of the Crescent Committee has officially announced that the moon will not be seen for Rabiul Awwal 1446 Hijri.

The meeting of the Central Ruyat Hilal Committee for the sighting of the moon of the month of Rabi-ul-Awal was held under the chairmanship of Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabeer at the Secretariat of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in the federal capital, Islamabad, while the meetings of the Zonal Committees were held in Karachi, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Peshawar.

Representatives of Sparco, the Department of Meteorology, and the Ministry of Science and Technology were also present to support the Royat Hilal Committee.

Chairman Rawit Hilal Committee announced that the moon of Rabi-ul-Awwal was not sighted across the country, so the first Rabi-ul-Awwal in Pakistan will be on September 6, while the twelfth of Rabi-ul-Awwal will be on Tuesday, September 17.
