Sahiwal: Deputy Commissioner Saima Ali said that scholars should promote religious tolerance and brotherhood during Rabi-ul-Awwal. On the occasion of Chelum Hazrat Imam Hussain and Rabi Al-Awwal, all institutions should efficiently perform their responsibilities. Member Punjab Assembly Malik Qasim Nadeem, Muhammad Arshad Malik, Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Aitzaz Aslam Marth, Assistant Commissioner Sahiwal Muhammad Uzman Chaudhry, Assistant Commissioner Chicha Watani Ahsan Waheed Gondal and members of District Peace Committee attended the meeting. Member Provincial Assembly Malik Qasim Nadeem said that the cooperation of all the members of the District Peace Committee has always been exemplary in keeping Sahiwal a cradle of peace. Member Provincial Assembly Muhammad Arshad Malik said that during the processions and celebrations of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi, fool-proof security should be ensured and the traffic plan should be implemented effectively for the convenience of the public. During the meeting, the scholars appreciated the excellent arrangements made by the administration on the occasion of Muharram. At the end of the meeting, prayers were also offered for the development and prosperity of the country.
