LAHORE: Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry at the Central Police Office presided over the meeting and reviewed the inspection and maintenance issues of the river check posts of the province. DIG Establishment Two Captain (Retd) Liaquat Ali Malik participated in the meeting, while DIG Punjab Highway Patrol Athar Waheed, Lieha, Rahim Yar Khan, Bhakkar, Muzaffargarh, DG Khan, Rajanpur, Attock and Mianwali. POs participated through a video link. Maintenance, inspection, and management of river check posts are the responsibility of DPOs, Additional IG Punjab directed the DPOs to inspect the river check posts regularly and submit a report every month. Ensure river check post buildings, construction, and repair of permanent embankments, and upgradation of boats, vehicles, and motorcycles.
