Peshawar: The Peshawar High Court granted 10-day bail to PTI activist Sanam Javed and ordered her to appear in the Punjab courts.
High Court Justice Dr Khurshid Iqbal heard PTI leader Sanam Javed’s bail application.
The court accepted Sanam Javed’s request and granted him 10 days’ transit bail. The court ordered Sanam Javed to appear before the concerned courts in Punjab.
Sanam Javed’s lawyer Ali Zaman Advocate said that an FIR has been registered against my client in Lahore and one in Mianwali.
Justice Khurshid Iqbal asked the lawyer that Sanam Javed’s residence is in Lahore, so what is she doing in Peshawar? Did he know that cases have been registered against him? Ali Zaman Advocate replied that this is his first application and he has not applied for bail anywhere before.
Sanam Javed’s lawyer stated that the client is not being allowed to go inside the court, that’s why the bail application was filed here, the court said that they give 10 days’ bail to appear there.
