Dera Ismail Khan District: A senior military officer along with his two brothers were abducted by suspected terrorists while meeting people on the death of his father in Dera Ismail Khan district. The police have confirmed the incident.
The army officer and his two brothers are employees of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA). Meanwhile, suspected militants abducted him at gunpoint.
The three officers had reached their native area to attend the funeral prayers of their father, which was held on August 27.
Kolachi police confirmed the incident but top police officials have not confirmed or denied the incident.
