Karachi: PPP Chairman has launched a comprehensive plan to provide solar home systems to 1.6 lakh poor families in Sindh in a phased manner.
According to Media Cell Bilawal House, the PPP Chairman has given relief to the people badly affected by expensive electricity and load shedding under the solar energy project introduced by the Sindh government during the first phase of the Benazir Income Support Program in two districts of the province. Inaugurated a project to distribute free solar home systems to lakhs of families.
Chairman Pakistan People’s Party said that not only the power system of the federation is destroyed, but no federal department is doing its work properly.
When the electricity bill comes, people get electrocuted. Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, former Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, PPP Sindh President Nisar Ahmed Kharo, Provincial Energy Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, provincial ministers, assembly members, and party leaders were also present at the ceremony.
