Karachi: A rain emergency meeting was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.
In which the provincial ministers, Sharjeel Memon, Saeed Ghani, Jam Khan Shoro, Makhdoom Mehboobul Zaman, Provincial Advisor Najmi Alam, Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab, Mayor Sukkur Arsalan Sheikh, Chief Secretary Asif Haider Shah, Senior Member Board of Revenue Baqaullah Anad, Provincial Secretaries, Metro Logist Sardar Sarfaraz, Corps Headquarters and representatives of Komkar attended. Hyderabad, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad, Mirpurkhas Divisional Mayors and Commissioners and DCs of other districts participated through video link.

A rain system will enter Sindh on August 26, i.e. today.
This new rain system will continue till August 31. A new rain system is expected in the first week of September. This new spell may bring 150 to 200 mm of rain in Karachi.
Thatta, Sajawal. 250 to 300 mm of rain is expected in Mirpurkhas, Sanghar, and Nawabshah.
