Rawalpindi: Pakistan lost six points in the World Test Championship due to a slow over-rate in the Pindi Test.
According to ICC, Pakistan has lost 6 points in the World Test Championship for falling short by six overs during the Rawalpindi Test, while a fine of 30% of the match fee has also been imposed.
Bangladesh were also stripped of three points in the World Test Championship for their slow over-rate and fined 15% of the match fee. Bangladesh was found three overs short.
Pakistan captain Shan Masood and Bangladesh captain Najamul Hussain Shanto have accepted the proposed punishment.
It should be noted that Pakistan remains in the eighth position in the World Test Championship standings, while Bangladesh moved from the fifth position to the seventh position due to the loss of three points, England from the sixth position to the fourth position, and Sri Lanka to the fifth position.
