Farhan Asif, the accused arrested in the British fake news case, was discharged

Lahore: The court dismissed the case against Farhan Asif, the accused arrested in the British fake news case.

A case of spreading riots by fake news in Britain was heard in District Kachhari Lahore. FIA produced the arrested accused Farhan Asif in court after completion of a 4-day physical remand.

Investigating officer Najibullah Niazi said that this news was already shared, Farhan shared this news further, he was investigated in every way but no evidence was found against him.

The court asked with whom did he shared this news and when he deleted it. The accused replied that I had deleted it after 6 hours.

The court accepted the request to discharge Farhan Asif from the case and released the accused from the case.
