August 28, the business community across the district will go on a shutter-down strike, and business centers will remain closed

Sahiwal: Jamaat-e-Islami and business organizations held a press conference on the shutterdown strike on August 28 against expensive electricity. The representatives of the business community and the Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami district Sahiwal, Tayyab Baloch joined hands in solidarity and raised slogans of Pakistan Zindabad. The business community says that business has stopped due to government policies and inflation has broken the back of businessmen. On August 28, the business community across the district will go on a shutterdown strike and all business centers will remain closed. Trade Union and Jamaat-e-Islami are united regarding the August 28 strike.

During the press conference, Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Hafiz Naeemur Rehman called and invited the traders to join the strike. Congratulated him on the unanimous declaration to which the business community assured full support.

In the joint statement of the press conference, the President of the Central Association of Traders, Haji Abdul Latif, the President of the Association of Traders, Chaudhry Waseem Hafeez, the President of the Grocery Association, Sheikh Waqas, the President of the Grain Market, Rana Ghulam Rasool, and the President of the Car Dealers Association, Baba Ali Ejaz, the Emir of Jamaat-e-Islami District. Sahiwal Taib Mehmood Baloch along with hundreds of his colleagues announced that there will be a complete strike in the entire division on August 28 and all business centers will remain closed.
