Rawalpindi: In the first match of the two-Test series, Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by 10 wickets to take a 0-1 lead in the series.
In the first Test match played in Rawalpindi, Bangladesh achieved the target of 30 runs given by Pakistan without losing any wickets.
Zakir Hussain scored 15 runs and Shadman Islam scored 9 runs on behalf of Bangladesh in the second innings.
This is Bangladesh’s first win against Pakistan in Test cricket.
Earlier, on the fifth day of the Test, in the second innings, the whole team of Pakistan collapsed for 146 runs.
In the second innings, Muhammad Rizwan scored 51 runs, Abdullah Shafiq scored 37 runs and Babar Azam scored 22 runs on behalf of Pakistan.
For Bangladesh, Mahdi Hasan Miraz took four wickets, Shakib Al Hasan took three wickets and Shoriful Islam took one wicket.
