LAHORE: The three-day celebrations of the 981st Urs of Makhdoom Awwalia Syedna Hazrat Ali Hajwiri known as Data Ganj Bakhsh will begin today.
Urs celebrations will start formally with the ceremony of veiling at Mazar-e-Sharif, Senator Ishaq Dar will inaugurate the ritual of veiling and sail.
Administrator Data Darbar has told Dawn TV that well-known scholars will address spiritual gatherings at Jamia Masjid Data Darbar, while the gathering will continue on the second and third day of Urs.
