Washington: It has been revealed that infertility among women increased in the United States last year, while there was a wave of concern among experts after 68,000 fewer children were born there last year.
The US birth rate has fluctuated over the past few years, with the lowest birth rate recorded in the last decade and a half in 2008.
Later, due to government efforts, the birth rate in the US improved, but it decreased significantly every few years, and in 2020, due to Corona, the birth rate there also decreased significantly.
But now, despite the situation returning to normal in America, there has been a significant decrease in the birth rate, and after a record-low birth of 68,000 children in the year 2023, there was a wave of concern among experts.
Data from the Department of Health shows that in the year 2023, only 55 women out of every 1,000 women gave birth to children.
Records show that infertility among American women has increased while the birth rate has declined due to complications of pregnancy, including abortions and lack of fertility-enhancing facilities.
Surprisingly, there was a significant decline in childbearing among teenage girls in the United States, with only 13 out of every 1,000 women between the ages of 15 and 19 giving birth.
In the year 2023 in the US, most women between the ages of 30 and 34 gave birth to children.
