Lahore: A prestigious ceremony was organized in Al Hamra in recognition of the artistic services of Emperor Qawali Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
At the event, famous singers of the country, including Sher Miandad, Didar Multani, and Megha, gave a wonderful performance of the songs of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and gathered a lot of applause from the audience.
Famous film directors Syed Noor, Pervaiz Kaleem, Shehzad Rafiq, Safdar Malik, Rashid Mehmood and other famous artists of film, TV, and stage participated in the event under the auspices of Alhamra Arts Council and CJFP.
During the ceremony, the world-renowned Qawal Sher Miandad awakened the magic of sound, and the memories of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s era were refreshed.
The performances of famous singers of the country were also well-liked while the performances of Manzoor Qawal and his colleagues set the sky high.
In the closing ceremony, renowned film directors Syed Noor, Safdar Malik, and Rashid Mehmood also distributed awards to the singers who performed on the songs of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
