The federal government has decided to abolish the Utility Stores Corporation.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has also asked for suggestions regarding the abolition of Utility Stores Corporation, while the federal government has also stopped the subsidy of 50 billion for utility stores.
The Prime Minister said that suggestions should be given regarding the closure of the Utility Store Corporation in 2 weeks. Shahbaz Sharif ordered that proposals be made for cash relief to the poor instead of subsidies on the utility store.
Secretary Industries and Production confirmed the plan to close the utility stores and clarified that work is underway to redeploy the utility store employees to other establishments.
