LONDON: The recent riots against the Muslim community in Britain were triggered by fake news and its sensationalism published on a website.
This has been revealed in the investigative report of the recent anti-Muslim riots of the British Broadcasting Corporation. These riots frequently targeted the Muslim community in many parts of the UK.
In its investigation, the British channel blamed the riots on a fake news story that was aired by a crime website channel.
More than 30 Indians and Pakistanis work on this fake news website and one of them created the news and it went viral on social media.
The news claimed that the man who stabbed three girls to death outside a nightclub in Southport was a Muslim immigrant.
Since then, the land has narrowed for Muslim immigrants and they had to face the attacks of white extremists in places.
However, the fact was that the 17-year-old accused of killing the British girls belonged to Rwanda and was not a Muslim.
When contacted by a British channel, Dawn TV, they said to send a written question, take advice from a lawyer, and give an answer within 30 days.
Another British channel, ITV, contacted the fake news website, which told them that an employee who published fake news without verification had been fired.
It should be remembered that a few days ago, the investigative report of the British broadcaster BBC claimed that the crime news website, which runs fake news, earns money by spreading crime news on social media.
