Our rulers sit in the morning and evening and give statements that we are doing this, giving this relief, but the result does not reach the people. The Punjab government has created a cap drama by giving relief in electricity bills for two months. Middle-class people are selling their household items. Girls are forced to pay electricity bills by selling their jewelry. We are also paying the electricity generators for the electricity they never generated for us. Pakistan is the only country in the world where we pay the bill for the things we don’t use and also pay 15 types of taxes. When you guys came, your stance was that you would give relief to the people. Inflation has quadrupled since you came. Instead of relief, the people are facing difficulties. The rulers are requested to abolish the taxes which have been imposed on the electricity bills and give relief to the people.
