Karachi: Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah’s visit to Sindh has reached Moreo Band.
Briefing by Irrigation Minister Jam Khan Shoro and Irrigation Secretary Zarif Khedro to Sindh Chief Minister. The canals exiting the right bank of the Sukkur barrage are blocked by the head.
6 major canals and 23 canals originate from the right side of Sukkur Barrage. only the Dadu Canal has cracked. Chief Minister Sindh instructed the officers of the irrigation department to monitor the Moreo Dam. Crops are damaged due to cracks, so the embankments should be strengthened. This was said by the spokesperson of Sindh Chief Minister Abdul Rasheed Chana.
