Lahore: There is a fear of flood situation in the rivers of Punjab in the next 24 hours, given which the PDMA and the administration have been put on high alert. Flooding is expected, the level of flood water in the Chenab River is expected to increase from 2 lakh cusecs to 2.5 lakh cusecs.
40,000 to 55,000 cusecs of water will pass from Jasr and Shahdara in the Ravi River, while there will be a moderate flood in Nala Bayan and a low-level flood in Pulak floodplain Sindh.
