Sahiwal: The rains in Sahiwal put out the fires. The bazaar and the streets are presenting a view of the sea. Despite the passage of 24 hours, water is standing in Fateh Sher Link Road and other areas, which is proof of the failure of the corporation officers. Commissioner Sahiwal Division Shoaib Iqbal Syed has said that rainwater drainage should be ensured in the city’s main roads so that immediate relief can be provided to the people. The Municipal Corporation and Public Health Department should design a new scheme to solve the sewage problem of Muslim Bin Aqeel Colony, Bhutto Nagar, Saber Town, Ashiana Scheme, Inayat Elhi Colony, and give a timeline for the completion of all the ongoing projects and all obstacles to completion.
