New York: The Pakistan Independence Day celebration in New York was organized by the Pakistani community. Pakistani American Chaudhry Abdul Sattar from Sahiwal was the chief guest of the ceremony and Chaudhry Saghir Anjum was the guest of honor. On this occasion, Chaudhry Saghir Anjum said in his address that Overseas Pakistanis are the declared and unannounced ambassadors of Pakistan. If any community is the backbone of our country’s economy and politics, it is the overseas Pakistanis. Even while living in America, the hearts of the Pakistani community remain in Pakistan.
