LONDON: A woman has been sentenced to 15 months in prison after admitting to posting an online message to ‘blow up a mosque’.
Julie Sweeney, 53, commented on a local community Facebook group from her home in Churchlawton, Cheshire, on August 3, which was later reported to police.
After posting the photo, which showed several white and Asian people taking part in a clean-up campaign after the violence in Southport, Julie Sweeney posted: ‘This is ridiculous. Do not protect mosques. Mosques should be blown up when there are adults in them.
