KARACHI: An unknown trawler driver snatched the official pistol of a policeman and escaped from Gulshan Hadeed Link Road.
Police sources said the policemen stationed in Steel Town started searching the vehicles near Link Road and tried to stop the truck. Instead, he snatched the weapon from the policeman and escaped.
Police sources said that the incident of snatching weapons in Gulshan Hadid took place around 3 pm.
SHO Steel Town says that two policemen were busy searching for vehicles near Link Road when they tried to stop a suspicious truck, the weapon of the policeman fell on the driver and the driver escaped.
