DHAKA: Protesting students in Bangladesh have demanded that 51 journalists who incited incitement against them during the movement should be banned from entering the National Press Club and all media outlets.
The students under the banner of the ‘Anti-Discrimination Students Movement’ have demanded a ban on the mentioned 51 journalists for inciting against the students and the public during the protest movement.
The report said that on Saturday, the students released the list of the 51 journalists and submitted their statement to the press club officials.
The statement said that action should be taken against traitorous journalists like Farida Yasin, Shamal Datta, and their other associates, who incited tension against students and the public.
The statement on behalf of the students, signed by movement coordinators Abdul Qadir and Abdul Hanan Masood, urges the government to take legal action against the journalists on the list.
