KARACHI: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) State Bank Circle arrested the suspect involved in an illegal currency exchange business from the parking lot of Jinnah Terminal Airport.
According to the spokesperson of FIA, State Bank Circle Karachi arrested the accused involved in illegal currency exchange during the operation, the accused was identified as Umar, who was arrested from the parking lot of Jinnah International Airport Karachi.
Spokesperson PIA said that the arrested accused was involved in the illegal sale and purchase of handi and currency for many months.
The spokesman said that the raid was carried out after receiving intelligence, during the raid, 120,000 US dollars (33.36 million Pakistani rupees) were recovered from the possession of the accused.
Apart from this, a mobile phone and laptop were also recovered from the accused, further investigation has been started against the arrested accused.
