Manchester: Pakistan cricket team’s fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi created history by launching the official jersey of Manchester United.
Pakistani cricket star Shaheen Afridi has become the first Muslim, Asian, and Pakistani to officially launch the kit of the world’s biggest football club Manchester United.
The fast bowler visited Manchester United’s famous home stadium Old Trafford in the UK for the launch of the kit where he was specially invited by the management of Old Trafford to launch the official kit.
Video footage and photos from the event show Afridi wearing the official Manchester United kit at the historic stadium, Manchester United management said, “We look forward to further partnerships with Shaheen Afridi in the future.”
Shaheen Afridi’s unveiling of Manchester United’s official jersey is being described as a bridge between cricket and football.
