Rawalpindi: The founding chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the government’s time is running out, these fools do not understand that this government does not have more than 2 months. This government is going to be overthrown in 2 months.
The PTI founder expressed these views while speaking informally to journalists on the sidelines of the hearing of the 190 million pound reference against him and his wife Bushra Bibi in Adiala Jail Rawalpindi.
The former prime minister said that there is an impression in the media that I have asked for an apology, the one who makes a mistake asks for an apology, and I have not asked for an unconditional apology.
He said, “I have been saying for 12 months that the CCTV footage should be released, concealing the evidence is a crime, the evidence is lying with you, if any of my men come in the CCTV footage, I will apologize.”
They said that I am only asking to speak for Pakistan, keep me in jail for as long as I have to, I am not ready to make a deal, a deal is done by someone who has committed a crime, I have no money left. Yes, no property, I have fought all the cases and will fight more.
Imran Khan said that the purpose of filing cases against me and my wife was to break PTI, 4 cases have been filed against me in one case.
The former prime minister questioned whether I was crazy to ask my people to attack the army. The journalist asked the question that the prosecution presented their evidence before the court, you did not present any witness on your behalf who can prove your innocence. On this, Imran Khan replied that witnesses would come in my favor if the names of the witnesses were taken before the time, they would be put behind them.
Founder PTI said that my cases were decided in haste, and I was not given a chance to speak after the statement of 342 was taken from me.
