Karachi ranks first in the global list of cheapest cities in the world

London: Data company Numbeo has released a list of the cheapest cities in the world to live in the first 6 months of this month.

Numbeo’s list of the world’s cheapest cities to live in includes 3 cities of Pakistan, Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.

The list was compiled based on New York City and compared to 218 other cities on lifestyle costs, rents, bargains, hotel prices, and purchasing power of locals.

In this list, the cheapest city in the world is Karachi, which is 81% cheaper than New York. It is followed by Lahore and then Islamabad.

In the same list, the city of Geneva in Switzerland is the most expensive city in the world, which is 1.7% more expensive than New York. Zurich is second and New York is third.
