Sahiwal/Chicha Watani: Police Martyrs’ Day was celebrated in Sahiwal as well in Punjab. Candles were lit on this occasion. Flowers were sprinkled on the pictures of martyrs. DPO Sahiwal in Sahiwal and DSP Chichawatni participated in the event. On this occasion, civil society including officials of Print Media Association Sahiwal, Sahiwal Press Club, and officials of Chichawatani participated fully and paid great tribute to the martyrs. Chamber of Commerce President, Central Engmine Traders President, Chicha Watani Press Club Chaudhry Fayyaz Hasan Kamboh, Former President Chicha Watani Press Club Saeed Akhtar Rana, Former General Secretary Malik Asad Abbas, Vice President Chicha Watani Press Club Naveed Rizwan, Mian Rizwan Anwar, including members of the lawyers fraternity and civil society participated. A special prayer was made for the elevation of the martyrs.
