Islamabad: The funeral prayer of Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of Hamas, was performed at the Parliament House. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Speaker of the National Assembly and Leader of the Opposition participated in the funeral prayer.
Federal ministers, parliamentarians, central leaders, and leaders of political parties also participated in the funeral prayer. PPP’s Raja Pervez Ashraf and PTI’s Barrister Gohar were also in the funeral prayer with the Prime Minister. The resolution to condemn the killing of Ismail Haniya was unanimously approved in the National Assembly.
