The officer who misbehaved with a citizen outside the Ministry of External Affairs building has been suspended. Constable Babar was posted in the security division.
DIG Security has said that departmental action will be taken against officials who abuse authority and abuse citizens.
Officials involved in the incident were suspended and departmental proceedings were initiated.
