LONDON: Fast food chain McDonald’s has revealed that its global sales have declined for the first time in three years.
McDonald’s reported its first decline in worldwide sales in 13 quarters, which it blamed on inflation as rising inflation pushed low-income earners to value deals and higher-priced meals, including Big Macs have been removed from the purchase.
Earlier, such a decline came in 2020 when the global pandemic Covid-19 and the worldwide lockdown also affected McDonald’s sales.
