LAHORE: The Anti-Terrorism Court of Lahore has allowed the open court trial of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Yasmin Rashid and other accused in jail.
The anti-terrorism court allowed media representatives and family members to visit the jail during the hearing.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Yasmin Rashid had applied for an open court trial, which was approved by Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Khalid Arshad.
Several cases related to the events of May 9, 2023, are under hearing against Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Dr. Yasmin Rashid.
