Sahiwal: Due to a short circuit in the Sahiwal grain market house, a month before the daughter’s wedding, the house and the daughter’s belongings were burnt to ashes due to a fire. The affected parents are overwhelmed with grief. The victim Kulsoom Bibi said that I am a resident of Hydari Masjid street number two Ghala Mandi. I have six daughters and we are very poor people. We are barely making ends meet. The house caught fire due to a short circuit. The daughter was to get married in August. We had made dowry with great difficulty for the daughter’ which had been burnt due to fire. Now we do not have enough space to make dowry for our daughter. We appeal to the government and district administration of Sahiwal along with our benefactors to help us so that we can send our daughter away in a dignified manner.
