LAHORE: The customs authorities arrested PIA air hostesses red-handed while smuggling foreign currency at Allama Iqbal International Airport.
According to DC Customs Raja Bilal, the air hostesses had hidden Saudi riyals in their socks, the value of which is 1 lakh 40 thousand.
The air hostess was off-loaded from the international flight due to suspicion. When the air hostess was searched, Saudi Riyals were recovered from her socks.
Air hostesses were referred to the I&P after the registration case.
