Islamabad: Jamaat-e-Islami has announced a sit-in at Zero Point Islamabad Expressway after not getting permission to sit at D Chowk in Islamabad. After that, workers from different cities of the country reached Zero Point.
The main convoy under the leadership of Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has also reached Zero Point Expressway, while various convoys led by Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab provincial leadership have also reached Islamabad Expressway.
In his initial address to the workers after reaching zero point, Jamaat-e-Islami leader Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that we had asked to come to Islamabad and we have come. Now we have to remain peaceful in this movement. “The government will have to shut down the IEPPs, otherwise there will be a sit-in.” After all the caravans reach the zero point, the next action plan will be decided.
