NADRA officer involved in issuing Pakistani identity cards to Afghan citizens arrested

KARACHI: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a NADRA officer involved in issuing Pakistani identity cards to Afghan citizens.

FIAA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Karachi took action and arrested Assistant Director Nadra Nadeem Ali, who was involved in issuing Pakistani identity cards to Afghan nationals.

The accused was on duty at the NADRA office in Hospital Chowrangi (Landhi) and with the connivance of other colleagues, he issued Pakistani identity cards to Afghan nationals.
According to the spokesperson of FIA, the accused has been arrested and an investigation has been started while raids are being conducted to arrest other accused.
