LAHORE: IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar met the thalassemia-affected children of police employees at the Central Police Office, and inquired about the facilities provided for the treatment of children, and educational activities, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said That welfare measures are in progress for the treatment of more than 13 hundred children of police employees, more than 150 children affected by the anemia are being given stipend of Rs 15000 per person every month.
